As a paediatric nurse with over 25 years of experience, I am fully DBS checked and have a wealth of knowledge in training children and adults in first aid courses.

I have first hand experience and knowledge of the first aid needs in schools, early years, businesses and in your homes. I specialise in teaching children skills for life, whether its at school or part of a social group, ensuring that all individuals are prepared for any unforeseen circumstances.

Paediatric First Aid Course

The Blended Paediatric First Aid Course is ideal for those who work with children in any setting. Its suited for schools, childminders, social group leaders and volunteers or carers, babysitters, nannies and au pairs.The course meets Ofsted registration requirements and meets the needs of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) settings and practitioners and is idea for those looking after children from birth to adults.Day1 Is an online platform of learning through videos and questions and a final assessment.
You can work through this at your own pace and it does not have to be completed in one go. But this must be completed before the practical face to face day 2.
Day 2 consist of a face to face practical and theory session and links the online learning with hands on training in a fun group setting.

EPFA-Emergency Paediatric First Aid-6 hour course

Emergency Paediatric 6 Hour Child /Infant First Aid Level 3 (VTQ)
A 1-day entry level course for anyone looking after children but do not need the full 2-day OFSTED Paediatric course.
Typically this would be for Nannies and Au Pairs, babysitters, parents and grandparents.
The course is a 1 day (6 hour) face to face practical course and the learner is informally assessed throughout the day.
The learner will receive a certificate which is valid for 3 years.

The Emergency First Aid at Work Course (EFAW) level 3 (VTQ) qualification teaches essential first aid skills for any workplace setting and prepares the learner to deal with an emergency situation until an ambulance or help arrives.
The course covers skills to also deal with an injured or unwell person.
The HSE required course is ideal for low risk workplaces.
The course is a 1 day (6 hour) face to face practical course and the learner is informally assessed through out the day.
The learner will receive a certificate which is valid for 3 years.

Family First Aid

This is a fantastic family class for anyone who would like to have basic first aid and emergency life saving training. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, babysitter or carer, this training can benefit everyone.In the comfort of your own home.
Its ideal for new Mum’s and Dads and older siblings or new parents to learn together. You could invite friends, new parents or nannies/baby sitters.

First Aid At Work Course FAW (TQUK Level 3) and FAW Requalification

This Level 3 Regulated Course allows you to become a fully trained First Aider in your workplace.
The 3 day (18 hour) First Aid at Work (Blended) course is a regulated qualification and is ideal for those already working or preparing to work within the industry or wishing to become a First Aider in the workplace for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.
It is ideal for businesses and schools whose risk assessment has identified they require a fully trained first aider for their workplace or have more than 50 employees.
The course duration is 3 days (2 days classroom based and 1 day online video based learning).
There is also a requalification option for learners who already hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate. They can take this 2-day (1 day classroom and 1 day online learning) course rather than the full 3-day FAW.The learner will receive a certificate which is valid for 3 years.

AED and CPR Training

AED/CPR Training
A 2 hour course teaching learners the skills and knowledge to perform CPR and AED safely in emergency situations.
This course is ideal for all adults and older teenagers, for those who just want the confidence to be able to do something.
I teach essential first aid skills for any setting to prepare the learner to deal with or take charge of an emergency situation until an ambulance or help arrives.
